It's not often I agree with marsinph but there's a bit here that I do.

Natalia, even if you're not the admin of the server, I'm sure you can get a hold of progger easier than us. The rest of us will go somewhere else to crunch when a project is down. I willing to bet you would be the one most affected by the project being down so it seems in your best interest to poke someone.

The fault of " sprint organizer " ??? Once again, wrong !! Because admin needed to contact SETIBZH to add the project !
To participate, there are minimum requirements. It appears this project do not have it !

Who included our project in Sprint?
Does the project not meet the minimum requirements?
So do not turn it on!

Then, when problems occurs , if we search help , all is redirected to a site only in russian !
I think the world community use english . All projects use english, worldwide !

Did you write here in English?
Do I answer you in English?
Are you unhappy about something?

We have a Russian project. We respect our state and our language.
Nowhere is it written that the Russian language in BOINC projects is prohibited.

Best regards.

I believe that you are misguided by your answers and I am replying in the tone that you have set which is beginning to annoy me. You are the Project Scientist. Are you aware that the FB Committe approaches each Admin before the start of the year? Since you are not the Admin, you might not be aware of it. Than again, it seems to me that the Admin does not even talk to you let alone the volunteers that pay to participate in your Project. He has not even 1 credit to his name suggesting that he does not care about your project.

You have a Russian Project and you respect your state and language. The rest of the world accepts that English is the trade language. I am certainly not going to learn Russian to help your project and am certainly not going to waste any more of my time paying for the Electricity so that you can claim credit for your project. Since your tone is such, I am out of here and in future I will think twice supporting any Russian project because of your attitude. If you are running a Home computer without Admin support than may I suggest that you cease running BOINC and run it in Russia only. Stop wasting my time and Money...

I am not aware that Sebastian does. Multiple project admins have been caught off guard by the Sprint event and had no idea FB event existed.

AFAIK, as long as the project is typically stable, open signups (no Primaboinca) and has consistent work (no CAS, RNA, Xansons) then the project is included for Sprint with some of those others available for Marathon. Each year projects get added/removed as they start or end BOINC crunching.

Longer tasks = fewer connections. My 1950x is completing nearly 2 tasks every minute. Upload, acknowledge, report, acknowledge, download, acknowledge. Assimilate, validate, etc, etc. Twice per work unit.

350k to 1.2m jump and tomorrows update will be much more yet still limited by the server. If this was run at home an ISP would probably cut the connection thinking it was spam from the increased volume.

Then, very strange, the main scientist of this project not run ODLK, have nul credits and no any host attached !
It is your "baby", your project, but your self, personnaly, do nothing !
Also on ODLK1 (latinsquares) !!!

You came here to blame the scientist project?

In that case, I'll ask you to leave!

Ignore that user. They complain on every BOINC forum.

The rest of us know that not every BOINC project can run on a Cray super computer with unlimited resources.

The project is announced 1 day prior to actual event start. So people download a bunch of work and credit will be submitted during this time period: 09/27/2018 21:00 (UTC) - 09/30/2018 20:59 (UTC) Watch for the credit jump then.

Is there going to be work for this app? I hardly ever got work for odlksym except for a single day when I got a bunch. The rest of the time there was nothing.
