Никто не захотел мне помочь опробовать подключение.
Может быть, дело совсем не в Ахиллесах, а в сервисе rustdesk.

Может быть, я случайно нажала куда-то не туда и что-то сломалось в управляющей программе?

Ну, я не знаю, что ещё предположить :(

Но глюк всё тот же и подключиться к Ахиллесам не получается.

Не ожидала я такой напасти, ну хоть бы один вырубился, а то сразу оба :(

Corporal подключил другой сервис.

Как нам кажется, этот сервис является просто копией сервиса rustdesk, которым я пользовалась до этого.
Называется новый сервис RuDesktop.

Over the last about 5 years I have installed, uninstalled and used way to many "remote control" desktop program/apps/services for use on a maximum of 4 home computers. Not one program lasted more than 12 months before claiming I'm using it for "commercial purposes" or I have violated the "terms of service" even though I very rarely used them to connect to my PC's outside of my home. The 3 worst offenders were:

TeamViewer - registered for a free account after installation. Was able to use it to remove connect to up to 4 desktop computers in my home without problems until 1 year & several days from installing before it told me I had to buy a commercial license. Went back and forth with the "tech support" team trying to fight the commercial use claim without success. They told me that my computers were "connecting to 'business', 'educational' and/or 'university' sites" transferring data back and forth automatically... (BOINC was specifically mentioned.)

AnyDesk - after 3 months, stated I need to register for a free account. So I did and got another 3 more months before it said I needed to buy a commercial license.The help desk refused to tell me what program(s) were causing it to require a commercial license.

RustDesk - after 1 month it wanted me to buy a commercial license. The help desk refused to tell me what program(s) were causing it to require a commercial license.

I finally went back to TightVNC for remote desktop within my home. Only drawback is it doesn't support sound and could not find a way to use it remotely outside of my home.
